Paul Newey *

foundation in 1991 up to its sale in 2007 and stood down as CEO in 2009.

Paul was a co-founder of New Wave Ventures in 2010 and has served as a director of a number of portfolio companies.

Tim Bullock *

Tim spent 26 years in banking and finance with 14 years as a Managing Director with Lloyds Bank Group.
Since 2005 Tim has pursued his private business interests, co-founding new Wave Ventures in 2010.
Tim serves as chairman or director of a number of portfolio companies.

Clare Twemlow *

Clare is a PricewaterhouseCoopers qualified chartered accountant with particular experience in working with high growth companies.
Clare held a number of CFO and Board positions with healthcare start up companies prior to joining New Wave Ventures in 2012.
Clare evaluates investment opportunities and serves as a director of a number of portfolio companies.

Ian George *

Ian started his career at Unilever Research after completing a PhD at Roslin Institute. He co-founded Enigma Diagnostics in 2004 and led its business development activities until 2013.
Previously he worked as a consultant at The Technology Partnership and prior to that at the Defence Science Technology Laboratory where he was responsible for the formation of several spin-out companies. Ian joined New Wave Ventures in 2013 and serves as a director of a number of portfolio companies.

Gareth Shilton *

Gareth has 24 years experience in the mortgage and consumer credit markets, serving as a Director on the board of Ocean Finance from 2007 and then as CEO from 2009.

Prior to becoming an adviser to New Wave Ventures, Gareth continued as a Director of the Ocean business following it’s sale in 2012.
